Starting hourly rate with experience: $26.93

The primary duties and responsibilities of a Police Officer include the prevention and suppression of crime, the investigation of offenses and the arrest of offenders, the protection of life and property, and the preservation of the peace.

The City of Florissant is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer

Requirements

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen; must be POST licensed (Police Academy graduate); and, have either a high school diploma or G.E.D. Associates Degree or a minimum of 64 hours of college credit is preferred. Applicants must pass the written, oral, physical agility, background investigation, polygraph, psychological, pre-employment physical and drug screen exams.
