Roles and Responsibilities of CALEA Commissioners

Persons on the CALEA Board serve voluntarily without compensation. During their service, commissioners:

Consider candidate agencies for accreditation
Serve on standing committees to make policy decisions
Represent the Commission at accreditation award ceremonies
Promote public safety accreditation to professional colleagues
